1 recommended award after minor alterations (typos, clarifications), approved by the head of school.
Some quotes: "an extremely good thesis... seems to me likely to have a major impact on guidance and robot navigation research areas... The thesis is very well written with a lucid and engaging style"
"very well written and I must say I quite enjoyed reading it... the results in this thesis are quite significant and they would probably generate a lot of new original research... I would encourage strongly Mr. Manchester to consider publishing this work as a book"
On the other hand, one said "the language is picturesque. However, the colloquial style of the presentation is sometimes annoying"... well, that's just, like, your opinion... man.
