A short biographical sketch

I was born on the 14th of December, 1979, in a small coastal town called Sydney, which can still be found on the east coast of Australia, straddling a harbour at the mouth of a river which washes its refuse out to sea.

The details of my birth are unremarkable, except that I was born 8 1/2 months premature, weighing in at 85 grams, and during the procedure a small group of oddly attired figures, variously described as Wise Men from the Orient or Horsemen of the Apocalypse, came to pay their respects.

My story ends there, except for the 25 years between my birth and the present, but that's a story for another day, a story which is as long as it is boring, and which, once heard, can never be remembered.

That's where you've been Ian - you have been conspicuously absent! Thought you might be dead or similar.

Similar, yes, but not dead. I had a bit of a weekend off, and when I'm a bit more relaxed I have less compulsion to deposit rubbish on people's blogs.

That, and, I read that whole "umbrage" conversation on Mat's blog and didn't feel I could add anything which could compete, wit-wise, with what was already there!

Just a hint. You need to post some pictures... People take you more seriously if you have pictures. Try bananas? I have always found banana photo arousing.

If good morning is 'go moron'. What about good night, it must be 'go neomort'.

neomort: A person who is technically brain-dead.

Junior...Certainly Swedish is for you...Cheers

In the wrong hands, logic is a dangerous weapon.

In the right hands, it's a powerful tool. But then again, so is Eddie McGuire.

Very good sir ian, your first couple of entries have been rather entertaining. I hope you can sustain such wit for a longer period of time. Eddy Mcguire has somehow managed to sustain his career for quite while, without having any apparent talent, so im sure doing the same with your blog will be unproblematic.

Well thanks, B-Roq...

My blog, career and fitness routine are all modelled around the Eddie Mcguire Formula: The simple fact that if you're talentless and lazy, but somehow get the dickhead factor just right, you'll be successful in whatever you attempt.

Sounds like you've got Europe by the throat, B, don't let up now. And keep the photos coming!
