owww

I'm in my hotel room in Korea. It's 5:30am local time. Arrived yesterday arvo, exhausted after 17hrs travelling with no sleep, had a wander around town (very very Lost in Translation) had some awesome noodles, then went to bed at 6:30pm. Slept like a baby.

Woke up at 4:30am, sooo hungry. argh. Breakfast doesn't open until 7, and even then I don't have any money. Neither my aussie nor swedish card works in any ATMs I can find here. I thought Korea was an industrialized country, Even in Guatemala they worked fine!

Oh the pain in my tummy. It hurts!

More news as it comes to hand.

Update: Ahh, just had breaky. Bacon and eggs, with their magical healing powers. Still have no money, but could charge it to my room, even though the restaurant isn't part of my hotel, but it's all part of one big business centre or some such.

This may give you some idea of how hungry I was: after finishing my bacon, eggs and toast and jam, I moved on to eating butter out of those little tubs it comes in. Then I combined it with jam. It's kinda like toast and jam, but less bready.

I'm actually still hungry, I might have a second breakfast when my boss emerges from his room.

Elevenses!!!

I often have second breakfasts. I had one today, in fact. Both were porridge.

Seen any hot, bored and emotionally available chicks wandering around the corridor looking for lecherous old men suffering from midlife crises to seduce? Oh .. you meant the brief shots of "those kerazy japs" that they sprinkled into Lost in Translation’s otherwise depressingly drawn out and ultimately unfulfilling plot?

Did that come across harsh?

Sorry... porridge makes me aggressive, it seems.
