I'm floating deep in your atmosphere

Time to pull out the big guns and use point form:

  • Good luck to $5 Steak, my touch-footy team. Last game of the season tonight, remember all I said about hatching eggs and protein explosions! I'm there in spirit.
  • Many of you have been kind enough to send me emails regarding this blog, but why not leave a comment? Even if just to say hi. It'll make me feel more popular if I don't have so many "0 comments" lines below my entries. It's like going to someones house, looking in through their window at all their stuff, and not even ringing the doorbell to say hello. (Note: if you are not a blogger, you can click "other" instead of "blogger" where it says choose your identity.)
  • I realised that to discuss integrability of my kinematic constraints, I don't need to go into all that stuff about Lie algebras and Frobenius' Theorem, all I need is the fact that 2nd-order partial derivates are the same no matter what order you differentiate in! (Only necessary and sufficient for one-dimensional constraints.) This simplifies certain sections of my thesis considerably, and that makes me happy.
  • All those Secret Chiefs fans out there (and I know there's at least two), there's a somewhat factually interesting, although quite boringly presented, thingo about the "Amen break", which is the break-beat bit in Jabalqa/Jabarsa. Notice how similar the Squarepusher sample sounds to Jabalqa?
  • As well as the whole "go moron" theme, I just found out that "good day" in swedish sounds remarkably like "good dog". Floopy floopy chocolate moose, this is going to be fun.
That's all for now, little friends.

But Ian, you should be so used to me coming to your house and looking through your window in the cold, dark night without ringing the doorbell to say hello...i thought it was the basis of our friendship...

Yeah, and leaving anonymous comments too it seems.
My first guess is that its either Gus or J-Girl. Or Alex, or Paul, or Luke. Or it could even be Gay Dodgy Steve. Actually, it could be just about anyone I've ever been friends with.

Well I'd love to not be anonymous but it's hard to be open and honest when trying to maintain a proper stalker-stalkee relationship.

Dammit, I knew that would give that game away! The touch match, on the other hand, was good, we ended up with a 1-1 draw.

Alex: I don't suppose we made the finals then? (weren't we 5th?)

Mat: Why thank you! I found your ski trip report terrifically entertaining. And your picture (sunrise? sunset? Victoria slowly tipping towards a fiery abyss?), the best yet.

B-Roq: Numerology aside, you're in Lagos now, so update your bog! The world is watching and waiting.
